I have to say that I’m slightly surprised at Tim’s decision not to go with morning suits for his wedding. I’m not saying it’s bad — it’s exactly the same decision I came to for our wedding — but every time I go to a wedding where morning suits are on parade, there’s a bit of me that wishes I’d not passed on the chance to dress up. I guess Tim had his go when he was ushing at Richard and Becky’s wedding.

Richard’s was so long ago I can’t even remember wearing one! I think you have a point – the fact is though I will be dressing up, just in my own way. I get to go shopping and spend silly amounts of money on a nice suit, shirt and tie! (This could all change if the bride decides a morning suit matches her dress better though….)

And as for the above, well, we’ve pretty much decided to go for morning suits after all (yes – you did get me thinking!) so you will get to dress up after all.
